Developed significant criminal tax evasion cases, successfully prosecuted, utilizing indirect methods to reconstruct books and records, i.e., source and application of funds, consumption methods, bank deposit analyses, third party contacts, and other investigative techniques identifying unreported income based on diversion of funds by high profile professionals including an attorney, physician, optometrist, and a sophisticated automobile rollback and "chop shop" conspiracy Cooperating agent for Criminal Investigation Division on an extensive Grand Jury investigation of more than fifteen subjects associated with a multi-state crime network. Ms. Jacobs generated this investigation based on the audit of one individual. The investigation led to a multi-state, multi-agency case including FBI and Pennsylvania Bureau of Criminal Investigation. Designed flow charts and other visual aids tracing cash through use of conduits to enhance jury appeal and simplify understanding.
