“Parents who are divorcing face the challenge of navigating this stressful process both for themselves and their children. When this process is adversarial and drawn out, the negative impact on all involved is increased.”

“Mediation helps parents create a plan with the shared goal of doing what is best for the children and provides each parent the opportunity to be heard and have their strengths as a parent honored. Children benefit from not being “caught in the middle” and as a result enjoy fulfilling relationships with each parent. In addition, mediation can help parents build communication skills which will facilitate a more positive and effective co-parenting relationship for the future.”

Erin is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson University where she earned her Master’s in Couple and Family Therapy. She is a clinical therapist at Peacetree Counseling and Consulting in King of Prussia and Philadelphia. She brings extensive experience in child and family therapy to the Alpha Center.
