Ms. Gilbert developed her idea for the Alpha Resource Center in 1994 after experiencing her own difficult divorce. She worked as the lead attorney until the date when she transferred all of her general practice clientele to other attorneys and focused on managing the growth of the company. Prior to opening the Alpha Resource Center, Ms. Gilbert worked at a general practice law firm based in Montgomery County. Ms. Gilbert is a graduate of University of Montana and Widener School of Law.
Ms. Schneider was born and raised in the Midwest. She is a graduate of the Villanova University School of Law. She has many years of experience practicing in all areas of matrimonial law, including working for judges presiding over all phases of family court matters.
Mr. Michael Hughes graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1994. He received his Bachelors of Science from St. Joseph’s University in 1988. After graduating from law school, Mr. Hughes worked as a law clerk for almost two years for two Montgomery County Common Pleas Judges. He gained significant experience in civil matters which included divorce, equitable distribution, custody, alimony and child support.
Christine brings extensive experience and expertise to the Alpha Center for Divorce Mediation. Her credentials include operating her own practice in Allentown since 2011 while also working with the Lehigh County Court of Common Pleas as a Divorce Review officer and court-appointed attorney since 2011. She earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from The Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University in 2010 and also holds an MBA from Penn State as well as a BSBA in Business Administration and a BA in Speech Communication from Shippensburg University. She is a member of the American Pennsylvania Bar Association as well as state and various county bar associations. She is also a tenure-track associate professor at Cedar Crest College where she teaches business and employment law and negotiation. Greg Hubbard has served people over the past 25 years in various roles as a practicing attorney, as a non-profit executive, and as clergy member. He joins the Alpha Center for Divorce Mediation drawing on his diverse past experiences in public service. Most importantly, Greg decided to become an attorney-mediator based on what he learned through the resolution of his own divorce. He believes the Alpha Center’s seven-step program is the best way to move through a divorce and onto a positive, hopeful new beginning. Greg graduated from University of Nevada-Las Vegas’ William S. Boyd School of Law in 2007. He also holds a BA and MA from Cincinnati Christian University.
John brings over 18 years’ experience to the Alpha Center, having practiced in multiple areas of the law. He holds a Juris Doctor degree from Widener University School of Law and a BA from Roanoke College in Communications.
Leslie grew up in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania and earned her Juris Doctorate degree from the Dickinson School of Law in Carlisle and her undergraduate from James Madison University in Virginia as a scholarship athlete and Cum Laude English major. Her previous experience includes working as a litigator in a general practice firm in Media, Pennsylvania and several years in the Chester County Public Defender’s Office. As a resident of Chester County for the last 35 years, she’s most excited about bringing the Alpha Divorce Mediation Program to the people and communities close to her heart.
