About Warminster, PA
Warminster is located in Bucks County, PA. Formally established in 1711, but first called Warminster Township in 1685. Named after a small town in Wiltshire, England. Majority of settlers in this town were either Scotch-Irish or from England. It was used for farming and agriculture, but is also where the first steamboat model was designed and made. Now, it has a population of about 32,300 and is surrounded by the Neshaminy Creek and the Pennypack Creek which are flowing off of the Delaware River.
